We went through several China made coffee makers in a matter of months after our Farberware coffee pots went belly up. We used to think they were the best, but after both of them began to lose their heating elements in a matter of months, we decided it was time to start looking for something MADE IN USA. After doing some internet research, we found that there are very few coffee makers made in our country. We finally located the Bunn, and even some of their coffee makers are made in China and some in USA. We contacted them on their toll free number and they were more than willing to inform us which of their coffee maker products were totally made in USA. Of the few they offer American made, we selected the model which best suited us. It definitely was a right choice. It does everything they say it will and produces a hot pot of excellent coffee in 3 minutes or under. Its dimensions in size are a little larger than most China machines, but hopefully it will last 4 times longer than China's junk. We have determined that even if this one goes belly up, we will continue with Bunn coffee makers made in USA. We, for one family, are tired of China's junk being shipped over here for us to make them rich.
