Bunn is the best of the coffee makers, their secret is that their coffee makers keep the hot water at exactly 200 degrees all the time. That is the optimal temperature for making coffee. This was our third Bunn coffee maker in 12 years. We still have the first two, they still work great, we just keep upgrading to a more capable model. We bought the BTX-B a month ago, and love it. It was our first Bunn with the aluminum decanter that keeps the coffee warm instead of a hot plate. Previous models of this type did not pour very well, but Bunn has solve this problem. We love our BTX-B and Amazon has the best price that we have seen on this model. Kohls has it listed for $199, so $116 is a good deal. If you really love coffee, you got to get a Bunn.
